Are there any plans of publishing some old archived songs by Fayrouz?
I am quite surprised that there isn't one decent recording of "Tareeq il Nahal", which is a wonderful song. The one version available is on the Natoorat Il Mafateeh recording. Not only is the sound quality bad, but that rendition does not do the song justice. When I heard Fayrouz sing it on the Las Vegas DVD I noticed how much of an incredible song it is.
I once downloaded a soundbyte from a Ziad Rahbani play which has a remix of Fayrouz singing Tareeq il Nahal along with a Turkish version of it (I think by Turkish singer Aida Pecan). Fayrouz's part was defently a more recent, clear studio version of the song that sounded more orchestral..Has there been a release of this version?
