A friend of mine, who is British, had lived in Bahrain for a while and was introduced to Fairuz music. He has been a fan for over 15 years but never saw her live. Last year, I invited him to come with me to Salle Playel to see her live for the very first time. After she sang the first few songs he turned to me and said "I always knew she had the most incredible voice but I really believe CDs don't do her justice. Her voice is so rich and powerful, I never thought I would say that about anyone. People who haven't heard her live don't know what they are missing".. That truly tells you something, especially coming from someone who doesn't even know Arabic.

I know I have said this before, but the new site will be up shortly. It is beautiful, I am in love with the design. It took a long time due to my being busy with career/life, and also trying to find the right design. This is an homage to Fairuz and it has to be right. Last week I finally settled on a design and now its being finished up by a wonderful design company. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks it will be up for everyone to enjoy.
