I just saw segment from Vegas Concert on ART advertising Fairuz concerts in the US.. It's happening..
: I too think the US tour will be successful, however, I have not found one advertisement in any newspapers or magazines for these shows, and it is next month. I am lucky to have checked this site, or else I would not have known she is coming to the US. The Las Vegas show of 1999 was HEAVILY advertised and it sold out with a seating capacity of 13,500. I only wish the best of luck to Fairuz and her promoters to get the word out.

They portrayed themselves as representatives of Fairuz but they ABSOLUTELY were not - I know for a fact that everything they said to the fans was NOT officially given to them by Fairuz and her team-). We all love Fairuz and have a lot of faith in her, so why not keep the faith through this type of gossip and negative publicity?! Anyone who has ever met our Lady knows that she is not stuck up, is the nicest person, and is very humble and appreciative of her fans. I choose not to go along with negative media which coincidentally is 100% gossip and not fact based.
: : As for marketing for the US tour, well our site has done what we can. If there are issues in promoting the concerts, that is the responsibility of the promoter. If he/they are not doing enough or not doing it the right way, that in no way is a reflection on Fairuz and her abilities. Keep in mind her focus is the singing and music. I believe that you can do so much with a Legend like her, and I am sure the US Tour will be a success.

Besides some articles about this subject were written, and they weren't very good... they portrayed her as being rude and some of them touched the lines of insults. That for sure wasn't a very good publicity. To top it off came Nora Joumblat statement that Fayrouz decisionw as wrong and wasn't good neither for her career nor for Beiteddine festivals.
